Jen & Brian | Kansas Wedding

We packed up the umbrellas and the rain gear and hit the road. Jen and Brian were so excited to get married even with 100% chance of rain in Kansas on their wedding day. After a spring time full of weddings that were postponed; the fact that Jen and Brian were able to get married in June, and keep their original date was a blessing. On top of that another blessing happened… It ended up being a dry, sunny, perfect day after all.

Jen and Brian picked the most beautiful locations for their special day. They were married at their home church about an hour south of Kansas City and danced the night away at The Venue in Leawood. The afternoon was completed by making an appearance at a local winery (one of Jen and Brian’s favorite activities), which made for a backdrop reminiscent of their engagement session.

The whole day was magical and we were so grateful to be a part of it. From the church, to Bourgmont Winery, a short stop where Jen and Brian met, and finally the incredible landscaping at The Venue in Leawood, it was a film photographer’s dream.
