Traveling to Colorado for an engagement or wedding has always been a dream of ours. Let’s face it… We love the mountains, we love adventure, and we love our couples. And while we love all the mountains in Colorado, we were especially smitten with the views at Spruce Mountain, which is where Regan and Mike chose to capture their engagement session. A big open field, warm sunshine and an incredible view of the mountains made for the perfect backdrop.

Mountains have always been a part of Regan and Mike’s relationship. They met in Alaska, moved to Colorado and when Mike proposed, he picked a beautiful hike with an amazing overlook (and one incredible diamond ring!). While we were pretty excited to keep up this “mountain theme” for their engagement portraits, we believe that the most important thing that makes an engagement session is the couple. And these two are obviously a perfect match. The best illustration of this is below and I’ll let the cute looks and smiles prove my point. 😉

Regan and Mike, we had so much fun spending this beautiful evening with you. We are over the moon that you picked us to photograph your wedding next year and wish we could do your engagement photos in Colorado over and over again. (Because we had so much fun the first time!)
