Amanda & Bryant | Backyard Wedding

Posted in: Weddings

“You have so many amazing friends in your life. Everyone that you interact with is inspired and impacted by you. I’m so honored that you would pick me to stand next to you on your wedding day.” These were the tearful words Amanda’s sister, Amber, expressed to her as she gave her heartfelt speech to Amanda and Bryant at their backyard wedding reception.

Amanda and Bryant’s loyalty runs deep. It was obvious with the way that they cared for each and every one of their guests and the way they cared for us. Amanda and Bryant made a point to greet everyone with a warm smile, a hug or a handshake and they engaged in caring conversations all evening long as they celebrated together. Their families rejoiced saying they “knew Amanda and Bryant would end up together all along” and “they were meant for each other.”

“that’s the way they feel about each other”

If you know Amanda and Bryant, you know these statements are true. He was in a band and she was at his show when they met (wait until you see their invitations below!) and from what I understand, Amanda was smitten right from the start. A lot of things have changed since all those years ago when they met, but one thing still rings true… That’s the way they feel about each other.

The plans for this backyard wedding started long before the day came. Amanda and Bryant knew they wanted an intimate backyard wedding, but with a personal touch. Everything was handpicked, quite literally. Amanda planted the wildflowers in her dad’s field behind their ceremony location. This not only made for the most beautiful backdrop, but these wildflowers also helped fill the floral arrangements lining the ceremony aisle and reception tables.

“the details of this wedding were inspiring”

From the stationary custom designed by Amanda’s brother (seriously one of the cutest, most personal designs I’ve seen), to the arbor hand-crafted by her dad, the details of this wedding were inspiring. When you walked into the reception tent, you could see these personal touches showing up everywhere. The wildflowers were placed inside of white tea pots, the tables adorned with mismatched china and instead of a cake table, there was a pie table. It was the perfect design to match their personalities.

Amanda and Bryant, thank you for letting us spend one of the most important days of your life with you. We enjoyed every second and we are sure looking forward to a new forever friendship with you two! And here’s your preview. 🙂

I am so happy for my beautiful granddaughter and her handsome husband. I didn’t think Bryant was ever going to ask Amanda to marry him! Finally they have committed their lives to love and honor one another forever. Their wedding was perfectly planned by them to meet their lifestyle and the pictures you took, Staci, show that from beginning to end.

Thank you so much Linda! It was such a special day indeed and I loved all the personal details so much as well!!
