I love how 2020 is full of intimate wedding ceremonies with close family and friends, lots of tears, and lots of laughter. While 2020 has had its challenges, I feel like this is one of the silver linings. We are slowing down and soaking up these moments, which is exactly how it felt to be part of Crystal and Donald’s wedding at The Brim.

We’ve known each other since day one. And when I say day one, I mean I’ve been friends with Crystal, quite literally, my entire life. My grandparents lived across the street from her family. We grew up together and my childhood is full of memories spending time at her house. And that’s just one of the many reasons this was such a special wedding.

Crystal and Donald’s relationship is so special. When you see how these two look at each other, you will understand. I’ll let the moments below speak for themselves. Crystal and Donald joined their families together as Donald included vows for each of their “littles” during the ceremony, while Lily and Jett stood beside them. I don’t think there was a dry eye in attendance.

Crystal and Donald settled on an in-person guest list that included their children, mothers and a couple of close friends. The best part though? They actually had a huge wedding. You may be asking… How? Well let’s just say that Crystal and Donald’s idea to virtually invite their guests and live-stream their wedding was a hit. Rumor has it that while some guests may have been lounging on their couch with PJs, many of their guests dressed up for the occasion and even toasted champagne while watching it from the comfort of their home. Well done guys, well done.

Several tears, lots of laughs and one incredible sunset later… These two are finally married! Crystal and Donald, I am so honored to have been in person with you guys on such an important day. Congratulations! I wish you a lifetime of joy. Here’s a little preview of your day. 😉
