Elizabeth and Kyle ushered in their wedding day with a rainy day and cool temperatures. Despite the forecast, this was their day. It was made for them and they embraced it. They stood in front of family and friends to say I do. They promised a life together while everyone witnessed these promises. They did this standing outside, under a beautiful arbor at Enchanted Acres wedding venue… And they did all of this under an umbrella, wearing rain boots, as the rain poured down.
Certainly this made for an adventure and for some fun rainy wedding day portraits, however, they missed out on some sunset glow portraits that they had their hearts set on. So when Elizabeth came to me with an idea to recreate her wedding day portraits – on their actually one year anniversary – I was all in.
Elizabeth and Kyle, it’s such an honor to capture an anniversary session for a couple, but even more than that, for a talented photographer. I am so grateful that you asked me to capture your anniversary portraits and even more grateful that I get to be friends with you. Here’s a sneak peek of our evening together.
