“And when I left that night I realized that I was jealous of the kind of relationship you had together.” Zack’s best man said as he finished up his speech. He was referring to an evening in college where he came to pick up Zack. When he arrived at the apartment, Ashley was sitting in the kitchen doing a puzzle… with a box of wine. So of course Ashley had to invite them to join in on the fun… and several hours later they were all still sipping wine and intently focused on the puzzle. He said, “I found myself not wanting to leave…” and “what an incredible relationship you guys have found, to be able to enjoy those quiet moments together.”

I believe it’s the everyday moments like that, which make a marriage so special. And it’s apparent that Ashley and Zack appreciate those as well. As you look below you will see all the incredible details that went into making Ashley and Zack’s wedding a beautiful celebration, but despite the lovely details, the best part of the day was the ceremony. Ashley and Zack shared their personally written vows in an emotional ceremony. They laughed and cried together. Family members and guests laughed and cried with them and they were beaming with excitement all day long.

This was a wedding that everything went as planned. It was a perfect October day at Executive Hills Polo Club. Everything was on time and all the details fell into place. I’m convinced that even if nothing went as planned though; these two would have been unfazed. Because at the end of the day they were husband and wife who now get to spend the rest of their evenings together… sipping on wine… sharing those quiet “puzzle” moments, and that’s just one of the many things that makes this marriage so special.
