Weston Red Barn Wedding | Elizabeth & Will

One of the best parts about living in the heart of the Midwest, is that Missouri has so many beautiful barn wedding venues – Weston Red Barn Farm is by far one of my favorite venues yet, so it’s no surprise why Elizabeth and Will chose it as their destination on their wedding day.

They met in college. Will and Elizabeth were both leaders in a ministry group with their fraternity and sorority. Will contacted Elizabeth for tickets to an upcoming event and word has it, Elizabeth knew the moment she met Will that he would be her husband. So of course she did what any girl would do… She wouldn’t sell him tickets unless he took her to the dance. When Will decided to friend her on Facebook he had no idea that, behind the scenes, Elizabeth’s entire sorority house was rejoicing.

“Heaven was rejoicing as well”

I’m convinced that not only were Elizabeth’s sorority sisters rejoicing over Elizabeth and Will’s union, but that Heaven was rejoicing as well. Elizabeth and Will poured out their love for Jesus during their ceremony at Will’s home church. They sang worship songs, braided a “cord of three strands” and honored God by accepting the marriage covenant with reverence. I’m convinced this is why we ended up with the most beautiful day. God parted the clouds and let the sun shine on them all day, despite what the weather forecasters told us.

“You kept pouring out your love on us all day”

Elizabeth and Will, I am deeply grateful to have witnessed your union. You made us feel like close friends. From the welcome we received when we met your friends and family, to the seating chart that included Shane and I at a table with your guests, you kept pouring out your love on us all day. And we love you both, so very much! I hope you are able to cherish these memories for years to come. It was truly an honor.
