Kansas City Catholic Wedding | Hilary & Drew

They have a tradition. Every Christmas Eve Eve (Yes, I said eve eve) on Hilary’s birthday, they drive around to look at Christmas lights. It’s one of Hilary’s favorite birthday traditions for her December 23rd birthday, and little did she know, her tradition was about to change…

Drew and Hilary met in College while attending Rockhurst University. They were friends first, but we heard that once they decided to start dating, they were hooked.

Drew said, “Let’s go see the Christmas lights at Rockhurst tonight…” But this year, Hilary’s birthday tradition would be forever changed. This year would be the anniversary of Drew’s proposal. At Rockhurst. On her Birthday. During one of her favorite traditions.

Talk about romantic?? We think Drew deserves all the brownie points for this amazing plan.

A little over a year later, Hilary and Drew celebrated their union in a Catholic ceremony at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Kansas City, and then danced the night away at The Venue at Willow Creek.

Hilary and Drew, I am so grateful to have met you both and want to thank you for inviting us to celebrate with you on such an important day of your lives. We loved watching your loyalty and love for your friends and family play out during your day. Congratulations and we love you both!
